I have been privileged to collaborate with Dr Neeraj Pant since 2023 and witnessed first hand his impactful participatory action research in Khulgard watershed, Uttarakhand. His transdisciplinary work, underpinned by hydrology and groundwater science is a blueprint for how communities can successfully address the intersectional challenges of sustainable livelihoods, gender equity, water conversation and organic agriculture in a climate impacted Himalayas.
